Privacy Policy
This policy explains the data Customer Feeling processes when you register an account, buy credits, request reports, and use the website, and the purposes for which we use it.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Account and purchase information
We process account and contact information you provide, such as your name and email address, and order and payment status received from WooCommerce and PayPal. Customer Feeling does not store full payment card details. We use this information to manage your account, link credits and requests to it, and communicate about the service.
1.2 Report request data and public content
When requesting a report, you provide a business name, Google Maps link, requested date range, and report language. The currently available report period is 1 to 90 days, counting both the start and end dates. For comparisons, you provide details for two to five businesses. We collect ratings and reviews made publicly available by the source for the requested period. These may include review text, date, star rating, business reply, and a public review identifier where available.
1.3 Usage Data
We process usage and security records, including requests and their status, available, reserved and consumed credits, downloads, and technical events needed to protect and operate the service and investigate errors.
2. AI Data Processing
2.1 How We Use AI
The service uses AI models to analyze public ratings and reviews and prepare reports. Processing may include:
- Customer sentiment tone (positive, neutral, negative)
- Key strengths and weaknesses
- Primary themes mentioned
- Recommendations and suggested improvement points
2.2 Data Privacy in Processing
Data needed to provide the service may be sent to processors that assist with collecting public content, analysis, or file generation. We limit the data sent to what is needed for the service. Each new report package retains a PDF and an Excel evidence register containing data and findings connected with the request. These files are stored in private storage linked to the customer account.
3. Use of Data
We use collected data for the following purposes:
- Providing the service and generating requested reports
- Making protected PDF and Excel files available in the customer account and sending service notifications
- Operating the service, improving its reliability, and checking report quality
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
- Preventing fraud and unauthorized use
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share our customers’ data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only:
- With hosting, email, public-data collection, AI processing, and payment providers to the extent needed to provide the service
- When required by law
- To protect our rights or the rights of other users
5. Data Security
We take reasonable security measures to protect customer data from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. However, 100% data security on the internet cannot be guaranteed.
6. Data Retention
We do not currently apply one fixed retention period to every category of data. We retain account, purchase, credit, request, PDF and Excel files, and audit records for as long as needed to provide the service, preserve access to downloads, protect accounts, resolve disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Copies may remain in backups until they are replaced or removed through the normal backup cycle. You may request deletion of certain data. We will review the request subject to legal obligations and the integrity of payment, credit, and report records.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of certain data (subject to legal obligations)
- Object to the processing of certain data
To exercise these rights, please Contact Us.
8. Cookies
We use cookies needed for login, sessions, the shopping cart, interface language, and form security. Analytics or payment services may use additional cookies under their settings and policies. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent account or purchase functions from working.
9. Third-Party Services
9.1 Google Maps and public-data collection providers
We process public content available on Google Maps and may use specialist service providers to collect the public data needed for a report. Result coverage depends on what the source and collection provider make available. See the Google Privacy Policy.
